The Tackling Tobacco Team once again staged another Colour Fun Run on March the 24th in Adelaide’s Northern suburbs – Fremont Park, Elizabeth. With a record number of eager and ready participants gathered at the start line ready to be covered in a deadly colour explosion.

The Tackling Tobacco team were planning to make the day even bigger and better than their last fun run, Record attendance! Fremont Park was not only covered with a rainbow of colour, it was swarmed with smiles, laughter and a lot of energy from Adelaide’s Aboriginal community.

Participants ran, walked and skipped their way around the 500 meter course, some eager to keep running until all the coloured chalk ran out. Once all the chalk ran out and the park was in a coloured cloud, we had a range of kid’s activities, jumping castle, to entertain us whilst waiting for our healthy lunch to arrive from Gormandiser BBQ, Chobani Yoghurt and fruit.

The Tackling Tobacco Team would like to thank the following people and organisations who have given their support and helped make this event a deadly event; City of Playford Council, Uncle Rodney O’Brien, Jason and his team from Gormandiser BBQ, Chobani Yogurt, St Johns, Colleen Strangways for her deadly photo’s, SA Quench Bench, Adelaide Jumpy Castles, MFS Fire Service, Aussie Party Hire and Aunty Jane Nelson.

Some of our deadly participants were eager to let us know their feedback about the day;
